Thank you very much for your continued support and patronage.
Tamachi Industries Co., Ltd. has been contributing to the advancement of global industries by supporting our customers' product development through precision metal processing and manufacturing.
Our company's history dates back to the early days of Japan's automotive industry before World War II. In 1912, Sukeo Ohta, the grandfather of our second-generation president, founded the "Ohta Factory." Starting with prototype aircraft engines, the business expanded into the production of automobile engines. In 1935, with investment from Mitsui & Co., Ltd., we established "Kousoku Kikan Kogyo Co., Ltd." and began mass production and sales of the domestically manufactured "Ohta-go" automobile. Furthermore, in 1936, we participated in and won the "1st All Japan Motorsport competition," held at Japan's first permanent racing circuit.
At the heart of our origins lies a passion for manufacturing and a spirit of challenge.
Today, we carry forward that DNA as we take on new technological challenges to support the industries of the future. In addition to machining engine parts for world-class races such as Formula 1, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the World Rally Championship (WRC), we also handle precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials for components such as turbines and combustion chambers in Japanese rockets, as well as microfabrication for medical devices like stents.
These fields demand micron-level precision, along with deep expertise in heat treatment, surface processing, and difficult-to-machine materials. Leveraging our accumulated technical capabilities and experience, we have consistently met these advanced requirements.
In recent years, we have also introduced two metal additive manufacturing machines (commonly known as metal 3D printers), enabling us to realize complex geometries that were previously difficult to achieve with conventional machining. We are also exploring new possibilities in manufacturing, such as design proposals through topology optimization.
At the core of our operations is our quality-focused policy: "50% Inspection : 50% Machining." By placing equal importance on measurement and verification as we do on machining, we aim to deliver true value to our customers.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to our vision of "Creating Future History," striving not to rest on past achievements but to pursue continuous innovation and quality improvement with a forward-looking mindset.
As a trusted company contributing to industries not only in Japan but around the world, we will continue to move forward as one united team.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and guidance.
Kensuke Takamatsu, President & CEO, Tamachi Industries Co., Ltd.
