Founding of Ohta
Founding of Ohta Sukeo Ohta established the Ohta Automobiles Co., Ltd in Kozuka, in the suburb of Sugamo. It started developing prototypes for airplane engines.Later, the company name was changed to Ohta Automobiles Co., Ltd.

Development of the Ohta Model "OS"
Development of the Ohta Model "OS" The factory was relocated to Kanda Yanagihara. A prototype of four-seater Phaeton OS was successfully developed.

Manufacturer Kousoku-Kikan Industries Co.,Ltd was established with a capital of 1 million yen invested by Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and full-scale production of trucks and compact cars was started.Sukeo's sons Yuichi and Sukeshige became key members in developing styling, designing, and production, and the company became a leading compact car manufacturer in Japan.

Tamagawa Speedway
Tamagawa Speedway The company captured victory in a domestic compact-car race, in the First All-Japan Automobile Race hosted by Hochi Shimbun. The championship was also won in the third race, but with the war becoming more severe, the production capacity of compact cars had to be reduced.

Establishment of "Ohta Shoukai Co., Ltd"
Establishment of "Ohta Shoukai Co., Ltd" Sukeo's third son, Sukeshige Ohta, became independent and established Ohta Shoukai Co., Ltd. He opened an auto repair shop in the midst of the postwar period when goods were still scarce. He then designed and manufactured racing cars for public auto racing, tuning, etc. Later, Kousoku-Kikan Industries Co.,Ltd. fell on hard times and merged with Tokyu Kurogane Automobiles Co.,Ltd.
